Kenji Sato
Director of Optical Intelligence
Kenji leads the development of our proprietary decoding algorithms, focusing on error correction in extreme environments.
At Prism Data Matrix, we develop high-performance data matrix systems that serve as the neural backbone for automated industrial logic and global supply chain visibility.
Prism Data Matrix began with a single objective: to solve the failure rate of industrial scanners in high-velocity logistics environments. Our founders, a collective of imaging specialists and systems engineers, recognized that as automation scales, the bottleneck shift from the machine to the data itself.
By 2018, we moved our core operations to Tokyo, positioning our R&D center in the path of the world's most demanding manufacturing standards. This move allowed us to integrate advanced intelligence systems directly into the production line, ensuring every data matrix is decoded with 99.999% fidelity under any lighting or contrast condition.
Our team consists of 42 specialists across optical physics, software architecture, and industrial automation. We don't just build software; we build physical-digital systems that endure.

Head of Industrial Systems
Elena oversees large-scale deployments across SE Asia, specializing in making complex data systems intuitive for floor operators.
Operating from Tokyo 4 provides more than just a geographic advantage. It places us at the intersection of high-spec robotics and global trade.
Our facility is optimized for live testing, with a 500-square-meter floor dedicated to simulating real-world warehouse conditions, from fluctuating humidity to vibration-heavy sorting lines. When we ship a data matrix solution, it has already been battle-tested against the harshest metrics imaginable.
